The 5 StrengthQuest themes I received were Belief, Futuristic, Ideation, Adaptability, and Individualization. Out of all 5 themes, Belief would have to be my most important one.
I grew up with a heavy upbringing on Christian ideologies. When I was younger, I found out my name meant “Good God” in Igbo. From there on, I would always try to use that as a way to stay true to my Christian beliefs. Now, those ideologies have been imprinted into my mind and my way of life. Everything I do is surrounded by my faith and thoughts of God.
I try to exemplify Christ in me through a lot of the things I say or do. I believe that my theme of Belief drives my other strongest themes. For example, my Belief theme drives my Futuristic theme, because I believe that God has a purpose for each individual. Right now I know that I am still growing, so I try to do everything I can to make sure I complete my purpose to the best of my ability for when it is time.
My beliefs center everything I do, however, I am not blinded by them. I love to talk about topics that challenge my beliefs, because it brings about new perspectives. I can be able to listen to another person’s point of view, and respect their opinions, even though I do not necessarily agree. At the end of the day, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and mine is heavily influenced on my beliefs.
